If you’ve spent any time at all in Naples, you have likely heard locals refer to what is known simply as “season,” indicating generally the months between Thanksgiving and Easter when our otherwise sleepy Naples community transitions into a bustling destination. While some year-round residents may decry the increased traffic and longer wait times at restaurants, many gleefully welcome the events and festivities of all kinds to fill your calendar to the point of overflowing.

Along Third Street South, weekly, monthly and special events draw hundreds and even crowds of thousands. Our Third Street South Farmer’s Market runs every Saturday morning throughout the year, and draws visitors from down the block as well as throughout Southwest Florida to shop, stroll, and chat. Every third Thursday of the month, musicians along Third Street accompany your evening enjoyment. Come the holidays, Third Street South is the place to be starting on November 21, 2016 for the lighting of the Christmas Tree in front of Tony’s Off Third. Musicians, dancers, festive décor, and of course a snow-filled visit from Santa Claus at the end of the evening welcome the Christmas season to Naples on a night that has become a must-see event in town. Throughout the holidays, enjoy the charm of Third Street South, with regular “snow” and beautiful decorations, culminating on New Year’s Eve with live music following the fireworks display at the Naples Pier.

As season progresses, the good times along Third Street continue with our very popular Pets on Third and art-filled Third on Canvas events. Feel free to check back here or keep in touch via our newsletter to learn more about these events as they draw near.
